The piece is composed of four paintings. Two of the paintings were painted with the same style and the other two were painted in a different style, however they all complement each other.

Artist statement: "Young coastal rainbow trout jumping out of the water to catch a flying insect, in a seasonal creek (somewhere in CA)".

Artist statement: "I first took pictures of hand positions I wanted to draw. Then I drew them on paper, with pen, and created patterns in the hands. The last thing I did was paint the background black with paint".
